I wanted to try out AO soon. The only thing that kept me from trying it before were all those bug problems.

I would say that alot of those crash bugs and memory leaks are fixed The documentation still sucks all to hell and there is no guarantee that you won't lose IP points if they change a skill. But damn, it is fun plugging little creatures with an assault rifle. Oh yeah, and the clipping problems in the engine are still there. I fell thru a building. Oh, and the lag during prime time sucks too.

I decided to stop playing when they removed 90% of the misson generators saying that "You should go out and kill things in the wild instead of doing it in a misson"

Well gee, I have to run to the mission in the wild, dont I? Yeah.

AO = great.

Although I haven't played in awhile. Been kind of busy/distracted and it's not taking priority.

Rubber catsuits...mmmmm. We still play EQ, Kh*****. Just on some nights, the roleplaying aspect of AO is a fresh change. I was playing an Atrox (big, fat, tall guy) picking up on her in a holo world using cheesy lines and flexing my muscles and dancing like Johnny Bravo. Was funny...we had people standing around watching us while we grooved to the beat.

I must say.. Ludo in speedos cutting a rug was the greatest =)
