ack! How do I use this now? It says just run eqw.exe , but when I do only the window box outline pops up and nothing loads

Since the latest patch, the OLD version of EQW does not work.

A NEW version of EQW that supports directx 8.1 is out, however it sucks because maybe 1/2 of the video cards out there it no longer works for. Mine, it works, but why do I need EQW when I have a LAPTOP?

Seriously, though... the latest version of EQW is shit. Wait for the next release.
