You're confusing "sappy gushy love story" with "plot". The two are not interchangeable.
The former existed only in FF8 and (I hear from second hand accounts) FF10. The latter exists in all of them and is the claim to fame for the series.

The "love story" here is hardly ever expanded on, and isnt the central part of the story. a decent sized part maybe.

I got stuck there, too. Falaanla saved me 
Put two Djose orbs in the pedestal and push the pedestal into the room with the lighting crossing the pit. Then push it INTO the pit.
Yeah, I Know. Obvious.
And a question... Is there any Damage or Defense on Weapons and Armor? I can't seem to find ANYTHING that shows me a weapons stats besides those actual abilities (I don't have an instruction manual)...
Also, is it just me, or is Lulu about to fall out of her dress?

It isnt a great one(at all hehe) but it shows an overview at will of Spira.
And those werent Icons like I said(thought they were from a distance) but city names spelled out horizontally in Japanese.
just you never move on the world map itself. you're in a plain instead of a world map. or a mountain of ice, etc. you do sorta move on it when you get your airship, but not really, its really, pick location, it "flies" to it, but you are really teleported to a that is near where you picked

best ive gotten so far was 0:22 myself.
but the hardest chocobo thing so far has been by far the hyper dodger chocobo. THAT was hard.
