I had no interest in Tribes.
Tribes 2 looked really cool, but I'm somewhat poor and don't buy games often, so I have alot of higher priorities.
But, you need a ok computer ... & most inportent,
you need a Verry good conection
this the best shooter came i ever ben in =)
As for the original, I only played the demo, but prefer the sequel.

The Fatty Man had this to say about Pirotess:
I've been a big fan of Tribes 1, and was thinking of buying Tribes 2. But then I heard about how buggy it was when Tribes 2 was first released; can anyone tell me if it's still really buggy?
It ain't.
on the box, they say it clearly that you need a powerfull comp to play the game to the max.
but, whit a 32 video card, 228 ram & a pentium 4 & a good internet conection (not a 56K)
you have fun
also, to have a edge on the game, good surond sistem, good mouse (need some space so you dont have to lift it to often)
geting in a Tribe & play the Concuring planets leader is verry nice =)

adenine! had this to say about Punky Brewster:
...the base Tribes community pretty much fell apart when it was released.
Dynamix getting axed didn't help much either.
Fluctuating system specs based on the video capabilities...
I play Renegades mod. It just seems fresher and more fun than base (even if it is "unbalanced", whatever that means)
