I read it. it isnt for my family, its for me. I do it for myself and if that isnt what writing is about then i guess i am not a writer.

On a lan just limit the access of you drives you to password.

Do what I did when I needed to hide a *cough*sensitive*cough* folder from my parents. Hide it in some folder like, oh...

C:\Windows\System\[a few more folders]. or
C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office\Convert\1033.

Or my personal favorite (only on Win2k, italic names are ones that are hidden by default): C:\Documents and Settings\Default User\Application Data\Microsoft\Internet Explorer

Basically, put the folder somewhere they would never look. If you aren't sure, Windows\System or Windows\System32 makes a pretty good bet, no one ever looks there.

The best suggestion tho, is Fal's. Unless you are writing more then 1.44 meg worth of writing (If you are, I'm truely scared), save the writing to a disk... and hide the disk (or keep it on you at all times)
