Our roommate's almost done getting a bunch of computer certs that should open the door to some good-paying jobs, my 'yote's next in line. Once they're both making good money, we're going to try to save up and get a house in Washington state.

I don't get the draw of Washington State. Yeah, it's gorgeous, yeah, it's super-duper liberal, but it's expensive as crap to live there, and it's super duper liberal.

Really, though, from what I've seen, the expense depends on where you are. We're looking at the Bellingham area. More expensive than OK, perhaps, but what isn't?
