For the EVE players who never read the news or really take much notice of backstory.

  • Gallente Federation and Caldari State meet for cooperation talks.
  • Gallente Mothership-class capital ship, the Federation escort for the cooperation talks, rams into the Caldari station where the talks are being held, killing the director of the largest Caldari State corporation. (video)
  • Minmatar parliament dissolved, prime minister vanishes, Minmatar Republic dissolves into chaos.
  • A mysterious Minmatar fleet appears at CONCORD (the police force keeping the peace in EVE) headquarters, then departs without firing a shot. (video)
  • Amarr Empire outraged at the Minmatar show of force, begins mobilising their vast golden fleet.
  • Minmatar fleet re-enters the system where CONCORD headquarters are and opens fire.

    CONCORD BUREAU STATION UNDER ATTACK

Yulai – *** This is a breaking news story *** The Minmatar-Thukker armada has opened fire on CONCORD Bureau Station and on the Directive Enforcement Division ships defending it. The station is reportedly taking heavy damage from dozens of dreadnoughts as smaller escorts engage CONCORD warships directly. Eyewitnesses were reporting "massive" casualties on both sides before their transmissions were jammed at the source. This is a breaking news story that we will continue to update as more information becomes available.

  • Rumours abound that the Jove can't help (as their advanced technology has always allowed them to hold a steady peace in EVE) because they're at war with an incredibly advanced race of aliens, possibly the original humans from Earth, and this is why they shut down all stargates leading into the Jove Empire.
  • General war breaks out between the four powerblocks.

Interesting to note that the seemingly "good guys", the Gallente Federation and the Minmatar Republic, seem to be the ones engineering the war. While the "bad guys", the Amarr Empire and the Caldari State, seem to be the victims who are forced to defend themselves.

    The best defense...

    Anyway, go Amarr!

Can't wait to take a look at things once I'm up and running again. I'm downloading the client right now on my new computer I just built sitting in the office of my new house. Been sort of MIA myself and have heard there's a bit of drama-trauma in Legion of Honor...

New computer I built is Intel Quad Core 6600, Asus P5N-D, 4GB of ram (going to 8GB asap) 1 TB of drive space, dual GForce 8600GTS w/512MB on each. Dual 22" LCD's. running Vista Ultimate 64 bit.

New house is a 1914 built traditional w/ 4 bedrooms, 1 1/4 bath (1/4 means a toilet in the basement) on 2 lots with a 1 1/2 car garage. (2 car if you have compacts) Same city, my daughters didn't have to change schools even. Nice neighborhood and great neighbors all around me.

Sound great, Kag. A few us ran off to join Battlestars in Goonswarm. We're currently kicking Smashkill in the nuts while Red Alliance beats them over the head.

UoH's alliance got war Dec'ed and I guess it made a bunch of people realize (Raya Mostly) that being in UoH under Duke's leadership wasnt in alot of peoples best interest, so a few of us, most of us, have joined a new corp under Raya's leadership. Without Sabre, Raya ended up taking over alot of responsibilities he didnt ask for (regarding the alliance) and the war dec kind of broke the camels back. Im told Sabre is fully aware of whats going on, not sure what the status of the UoH tag is going to be in the future... A few of us have created placeholder corps to keep the alliance alive for now. But get on vent and ask Raya about it, we have a mining op today so people should be trickling in on and off as they get home, etc...

I'm taking it that not much is still getting done in production. I couldn't get shit done when sabre put me in charge of research/production as every 5 fucking seconds they'd be bugging me to fly a bs in a fleet and noone would ever fucking help me haul shit.

Well, we are nowhere pvp worthy or anything in the new corp, but we got bucktooth, who we consider our production guy... Unfortunately it looks like Duke (after mentioning he was going to take *his* blueprints) took most of the UoH blueprints... so we are working on replenishing the stocks as soon as possible... but seeing as most of us seem to be tier 1 status. (this coming from the biggest noob in the corp, so dont take my word at 100pct face value).

So the short answer is yeah no production at the moment. I'd be happy to help you haul stuff though if online time meshes up =p

I'll happily join up in the new corp, but I'm bringing Kaglaaz as I have too much time invested in him to just abandon him. Finally at the point of flying Heavy Interdictor but have yet to even purchase one while I've been busy moving.

Can one of you guys send me a PM with the Vent info please, my other computer is just sitting here and I'm having too much fun with the new computer to hook up the other one yet.

I rarely play and I'm in my own little corp.

Though next time I get a chunk of playtime I'm going off to join PIE for the Minmatar-butchering roleplay.

    All times are US/Eastern
