my compy has been going insane because of spyware

so far I've run updated versions of the folowing

Adaware
Spybot searcha dn destroy
Browser Hijack Blaster
Pest patrol

each caught things the others didnt, with pest patrol catching 500+ things none of the others cought

im not sure how to scan with hijack, but haeving it running stops my IE homepage from beign changed, doenst seem to do much else though

anyway, im still getting asualted by system crashing IE popups, less, but sitll quite alot, and I'm allmost positive this is the cause, the site open is what it makes the homepage, does anyoen know how to kill it?

you may want to run Hijack This.

Imporant note about Hijack This:
Do not delete everything it finds. Unlike most spyware detecting programs, most things that it detects are NOT harmful. They're benign, if not CRITICAL. It detects everything that has an impact upon Internet Explorer. If you're unsure about something, don't delete it. You may want to post the textual log of the results of its scan in this thread.

I run Ad Aware 6 and Spybot. Also, I use Crazybrowser, which has a built-in pop-up killer and is more efficient than IE, and I use Zone Alarm Plus, a firewall program. I have like 2 or 3 pop ups that get through in a month. You might want to try that. It probably won't fix the problem you have, but it will prevent further ones.

msconfig is a good way to check but be carefull what you disable.

If your using xp turn off the network admin messanger thing too. I don't know how but if needed I'm sure someone has a link.
