No namecodes were harmed in the making of this .sig

It only works for some people--I had to add Drysart by hand, for instance. Don't worry, this only uses information that a normal user has access to... just in a clever way.

This is, no doubt, a conundrum that shall be pondered a few minutes before broken and abused/exploited.

I noticed the image is rather odd...is that some sort of invert font? It looks like it outlines the inside of the letters in its non-board form.

Hmm, does it only take people on the who's online list?

Curiouser and curiouser. I'm obviously going to have to ponder how he's doing this a bit more, since it seems my initial guess (creative use of Who's Online) isn't the case.

It's yet to come up with mine, and I don't have my name in the who's online list, so naturally I assumed...

Yeah I was testing something.

But to do what I was thinking, it'd require two images in his sig, and might not work reliably even in that case.

Say, I just thought of something.

If I had a php dynamic image in my sig, would I be able to script it to take from arrays on the board?

I'm nowhere near competent enough with PHP yet to do dynamic images, so you don't need to worry about that.

No. To get at the arrays on forum pages you need to be able to insert Javascript code on the page somehow, and that's impossible to do.

That's what I figured, but then I'm often amazed with new webcode that seems to acheive the impossible.

You should see some of the stuff I've done at work. Remember the EQCLIENT.INI Configurator I wrote? That was a test case for a much larger project.

Heh, and I feel big when I figure out how to get mIRC to use the read/write commands to use a text file like a database.
