I was just chatting on my server. I ran across someone unusually pleasant and it really surprised me. I said something - and I got some replies back that make me wonder how others view Vanilla. I'm not talking about BC or any expansions - just Vanilla.
I recall it as a much, much friendlier time for the most part. There were still a lot of jerks; that cannot be helped. But someone said it was "savage" back then - and I wholly disagreed.
I remember people talking to one another often very politely and interacting while questing. I remember passing people on the road and buffing and being buffed (which they pretty much took out of the game).
Please help.
