So, I'm at one of your offices, Mort. Shall I apply referring to you? Anything I should mention in my application?

Just say you know me, that I recruited you, and everything will be peachy.

Good good.

I made a Gallente to do the tutorial again. I'm very proud that I managed to come up with a Gallente who doesn't look gay. Unfortunately, he looks like he's about to go super saiyajin now.

Well, to be fair, he looks sorta gay.

You haven't seen the other Gallente yet. Compared to them he is the epitome of manly manliness.

My main character looks slightly more masculine, though.

Ironically, the Gallente in EVE are French in origin.

Whats ironic about effeminate girl-men originating from France? That's pretty much the exact opposite of irony.

In EVE, short term goals are boring, long term goals are fun.

If you like to just jump in and bash something, choose WoW (or WAR when it comes out).

If you like micromanagement, empire building, long-term goals etc, choose EVE.

Not bashing either game. They're just for very different styles of players. FPS lovers (for an example) would get very bored with EVE, and empire-building-games lovers would get very bored with WoW.

Every MMO promises an epic, persistent world, but only EVE has even come close to delivering something like that.

EVE is the only MMO where you can take part in swaying the tide of a real, massive conflict that literally lasts for years and actually feels like a real war. The slow pace of the game is an unfortunate tradeoff.

Yes, I agree. The type of combat is very fitting for cruisers and up (I'd like a bridge view though), but for frigates and interceptors, something Freespace-like would be godly.

Yeah, if there was something like that in place for my interceptors...I would be back in the game so damn fast.
