The tech consulting firm I work for now just bought a Wii U for the breakroom with Mario Kart 8. It is pretty fun.

So does the character you pick do anything for your stats or is it all the cart, tires and glider you pick that determine that?

There's like 6 different weight classes, with the heavier dudes having better top speed and the lighter dudes having better accel/turning
