The commericials/trailers look horrendous. I'm much more interested in in seeing I Am Legend, starring Will "WELCOME TO EARF" Smith.

I Am Legend will be interesting to see how its pulled off, since the book was so good...also considering that it was set in the 50s and this one is in the future...and also considering the book Robert Neville fondly recalls meeting a negro.
I hear that the movie is closer to The Omega Man than the novel. Which sucks, because the novel really can work well as a movie. Hell, you hardly need to have an SFX budget. But hey, as long as the ending is similar to the novel, I think it'll be great.

The game was bizarre in that it felt almost like a graphic adventure platforming game. It wasn't unplayable, but I had to get in a certain mindset to play it. Most people, kids including would think it's probably pretty boring, but it was just a substitution for the movie for me.
Anyways, yeah I thought this movie was gonna be crap from the start and if the game is any indication it will be. Characters you have no fucking clue about why they're there and plot holes every way you look. I don't think anything about the world was actually fully explained. This is gonna be the cash-in epic fantasy trilogy of the year. (Or it would if it actually boxed anything, which it still might. Let's wait and see!)

I watched it earlier, though I wasn't paying a lot of attention. The anti-religion stuff is definitely there, though far from heavy and pretty easily ignored. In general, it felt rushed, ended abruptly, and just seemed average at best. You're better off reading the books if you want a real explanation as to what's going on.
The polar bear duel scene was cool though.

It's also less anti-religion and more against establishments, religious or otherwise, who try to tell people what to think and do and believe.
I would say read the book though if you want the whole story, as I saw parts that I understood perfectly well because this has long been one of my favorite series, but that I thought were a little vague in explanation for those who had never encountered the books.
