I can't celebrate any man's death, even if they are a horrible, rotten, evil excuse for a human being. That said, I disappointed in myself for immediately cheering and thinking that the world is a better place now that he'll be learning how wrong his views were.

Actually, I'm not really all that disappointed in myself for thinking that. He really was a terrible human being who had no respect for his fellow man and the religion he claimed to follow. He has given decent Christians a bad name by promoting an agenda of hate. I suspect that many would not find fault in me seeing little reason to mourn the man.

You may not feel it right to celebrate someone's death, but I can tell you that I'd be perfectly willing to pop open some champagne and light a few fireworks, if I had either.
