Depends.

Does Robotech count?

If not, then Trigun.

First I've ever SEEN or WATCHED?

Cowboy Bebop would be the first I've liked enough to WATCH more than one episode... first I ever SAW was Robotech.

Yeah, Saturday Anime was my first too. It was some bounty hunter thing. Probably sucked but it seemed good enough when I was a kid.

The first one I ever watched would probably be Speed Racer. The first I actually watched continuously would be DBZ.

Ironically, Vampire Hunter D for me as well. When I was little, about 18 years ago (god it's weird to say that), they showed anime on one of our channels and the segment was simply called Japanimation. And the first night I ever watched Japanimation, they showed Vampire Hunter D.

Anyone remember Unico? I watched that when I was little, too. Keep trying to get my hands on a copy of the two movies, but I can never find them.

Not that I'm an anime fan, but the first one I ever remember enjoying that my sister made me watch was Samurai X. But most of the time I find myself watching Anime with her and thinking that I have absolutely no idea what's going on.

OHH! I'm soooo wrong.. Hearing "Unico" reminded me...

My first anime wasn't Sailor Moon. It was....

The Last Unicorn!

Awesome movie. I want it... There's something to add to my christmas list.

I don't believe The Last Unicorn can really be counted an anime. It's a cartoon movie, based off a novel. In fact, I believe it's American to boot, isn't it?

After googling the name in the image search, what came up appeared to have the anime-style animation. I believe that's why she counted it as anime.

Oh, it's a cartoon movie. But the animation style is much more of the 70s animation style. You see it in a portion of Xanadu as well. Heavy Metal is another good example of that type
